About Landa Park:
Landa Park is a beautiful municipal park in New Braunfels. It covers just under 200 acres and includes numerous attractions, including a golf course, paved walking trails, a nature trail, a miniature train, a lake and a springs.
There are individual picnic tables, plus a recreation center. There's also a boathouse, and paddle boats can be rented for use on Landa Lake. The park contains Comal Springs, the headwaters of the Comal River, plus the Landa Park Aquatic Complex, a 1.5-million gallon spring-fed pool.
The Panther Canyon Nature Trail is a 51-acre protected wilderness with a 1.6-mile round-trip nature trail, free for self-guided hikers. Guided tours are available with reservations.
Landa Park Golf Course is very popular with locals, but there is also a miniature golf course. The miniature train chugs around the perimeter park.
Landa Park itself is open daily and often hosts special events. Some of the individual attractions within the park require a small fee, or operate on different schedules.
